Payment Options, Deposit, Refunds & Cancellation Polices

There is a 50% deposit to secure a session or project. The other 50% is due before you start your session or project. Deposit is non-refundable. No refunds for recording, mixing, editing or mastering. Cancellations must be made 48 hrs prior to your appointment, or you lose your time. All fees and packages are subject to change at any time without notification.

Exclusive Works For Hire Assignment Track Option

An “Exclusive Works For Hire Assignment Track” is a track that the producer makes for the artist and/or record label as a work for hire which means the producer sells all the rights to the track and the artist and/or record label owns it. All Exclusive Works For Hire Assignment Tracks are negotiable. These tracks available to the following: Unsigned Underground Artists, Independent Artists and Indie Labels, and Major Artist and Labels. Package deals available.

$350 - One Track – Starts at $350, For Unsigned Artists

$1000 - Three Tracks – Starts at $1,000, For Unsigned Artists

$1500 - One Track – Starts at $1,500, For Indie Labels Artists

$5,000 - Four Tracks – Starts at $5,000, For Indie Labels Artists

$3,000 - One Track – Starts at $3,000, For Mainstream Artists

$10,000 - Four Tracks – Starts at $10.000, For Mainstream Artists

Exclusive Lease Options (WAV)

As part of an exclusive Lease rights option, a different split between all creators could be negotiated. It all depends on the price and flexibility of the artist’s budget and circumstance. While I generally stick to my 50%, sometimes, under special circumstances, I may agree to the following example splits: 50% Producer, 25% Writer 1, 25% Writer 2; or Producer, 35% Writer 1, 35% Writer 2. Songwriter royalties apply to anyone that had creative input in a song. Producers, songwriters (lyricists) and sometimes even engineers.

Non-Exclusive Leases for Options Unsigned Artists (MP3)

The Non-Exclusive Lease can also be resold to other artists as many times as a producer desires. The producer keeps 100% of any royalties made from the track over the lease duration. This license is the most limited to the buyer in terms of usage. The license comes with a sales cap, and in some cases the artist won’t be able to use the beat for things like music videos, live performances, or radio airplay. Royalty Split Example for Non-Exclusive Lease (when applicable): 50% Producer, 25% Writer 1, 25% Writer 2.

$25 Promotional Non-Exclusive Lease (MP3) - Buyer gets a mixed/unmastered MP3, usually with 1 or 2 beat tags. Beat tags are an audio watermark placed on beats to prevent replication and to help assign ownership to the producer (Warren Jason Colbert – Raise The Banner Media LLC). With this license, the artist won’t be able to use the beat for things like music videos, live performances, or radio airplay, but they will be able to use this license on up to 3 social media pages for streaming.

$50 Basic Non-Exclusive Lease (WAV & MP3) – Buyer gets a mixed/unmastered WAV and MP3, use for 1 music video, and mainstream radio and playlisting on streaming services, max 2,000 streams, usually with 1 or 2 beat tags. Beat tags are an audio watermark placed on beats to prevent replication and to help assign ownership to the producer (Warren Jason Colbert – Raise The Banner Media LLC). Credit must also be given to producer (Warren Jason Colbert – Raise The Banner Media LLC) in published lyrics.

$100 Premium Non-Exclusive Lease (WAV & MP3) Buyer gets a mixed/unmastered WAV and MP3, use for 1 music video, max 100,000 streams, sell 5,000 copies with royalty split, upload to Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music etc., usually with 1 or 2 beat tags. Raise The Banner Media LLC Core Acts

Raise The Banner Media LLC is seeking to develop core acts to sign a 1-year recording agreement. These core acts will be Worship Singers and Christian Rappers, solo artists, duos, and or groups that have ample experience and a good reputation in the music industry. Such experience may include co-producing and recording albums, touring, self-employment as an artist, a basic knowledge and understanding of music business, and good bookkeeping and accounting practices. Raise The Banner Media LLC core acts will be expected to be seasoned professional individuals who are ready to record full length projects, tour, and lead our development artists.

Raise The Banner Media LLC Development Acts

Raise The Banner Media LLC is seeking to develop artists and offer development programs for a 1-year recording agreement. These development acts will be Worship Singers and Christian Rappers solo artists, duos, and or groups that have little or no experience but have a lot of talent. We will be looking for humble, teachable individuals that are willing to learn and grow at a steady pace. Raise The Banner Media LLC development artists will be expected to at least record an E.P. (Extended Play) with four to five songs, open for and shadow our core acts.
